Taxi drivers serving Samoa through the Samoa Island Taxi Stand at Se’ese’e wants to look good for their passengers.

That’s the motive behind a new uniform recently introduced for the Stand.

Owner Venisini and Carol Barstch, the uniform came from Australia and the drivers have started wearing them.

“We want to ensure the drivers look professional when they are out there to serve members of the public,” Mr. Barstch said.

“We have two sets of uniforms which we recently received from Australia and the drivers are very happy with them.

“Visual appearance is very important for our job and I’m happy to see that our drivers will look very well presented when they deal with members of the public.”

Samoa Island Taxi Stand services the wider Faleata area as well as the Apia Township.
