Missing Malietoa’s vision

Re: How silly politics ruined Ele’s moment

Great article. The days of Malietoa and his vision is no longer part of the narrative or our government.

This a symbolic moment and the opportunity for this P.M and his Cabinet to shine but they failed.

They also failed all of us. It was a lost moment for the P.M. Basically the P.M showed us that his relatives are more important than the rest of the country.

He showed us that and our daughters that equality does not exist in our future.

As much as this P.M encourages women to be part of the political process, the lack of efforts by him and his cabinet to celebrate a champion (A female champion) reflects his true vision of women in general.

He showed that he could careless about our daughters.
