United in love and together for a purpose, lovebirds Paselio Ioane and Jacinta Leuilatai Ekeroma celebrated their special day on Saturday despite the blustery conditions.

The day started at the Tufulele Catholic Church where the couple exchanged vows before Bishop Lu Collins, their families, friends and guests.

The couple, who have been together for five years, are based in Melbourne Australia.

However, they decided to tie the knot in Samoa so they can be with their families on their special day. Jacinta is the fifth eldest of 14 children of Leuilatai and Poluveletele Sesilia Ekeroma from Tufulele and Melbourne.

The 26-year-old, who works as a receptionist, had her sister Neta Leuilatai Ekeroma, as her Maid of Honour.

Paselio on the other hand is 31 years of age. He is the fifth of nine children of Reverend Ioane and Tupe Saoaiga of Palauli.

A scaffold worker in Australia, his best man was his brother, Steve Ioane.

Asked about their future plans, the new couple said they are looking forward to their life together.

The reception was held at the N.U.S. Samoan Fale.
