Promoting value of good nutrition and healthy lifestyle in schools

The Nobesity Samoa outreach programme visited Vaitele Primary school last week with a message of good nutrition and healthy lifestyle. 

This is the programme’s 4th year of existence.

The visit to Vaitele involved Nobesity Ambassadors – the Superheroes – working with students and teachers in fun- filled exercises they can do at home and in their community. 

The outreach programme also educated the participants about nutrition and making healthy food choices. 

The programme was blessed by the presence of the District School Inspector, Vaiaso Paulo. It was wholeheartedly supported by Ferila Sua, the Principal of Vaitele Primary School.

 “Nobesity outreach program to Vaitele Primary School is a fun filled and positive approach to promote health in the schools and working together MESC in the educating our young generation to live healthy lifestyle,” she said.

 “ A healthy body nurtures a healthy mind which is key to better education  

Ms. Sua said: “We are very thankful for the visit and the whole school had a great time.”

On the whole it was a great fun filled activity that everyone participated wholeheartedly. Keep watching this space as Nobesity Samoa continues with its calendar of activities
