Instead of banning Facebook

Dear Editor,

I read the Prime Minister’s threat to ban Facebook with a lot of interest.

But here is my challenge, why don’t you explain yourself in relation to the allegations that have been presented?

If they are wrong, why don’t you prove to the country that you are totally innocent and pure? Revenge and threats don’t reflect well on you.

Clarify to the public what these people have been accusing you of, and the media will continue to do its job which is to broadcast what is going on around the country and the world without any bias.

When you talk about hurting someone, it sounds like you’ve done this before or at least contemplated or planned one before.

Since when is a good leader hurting his own people?

Why don’t you ask to talk things over?

Don’t waste government money to hunt these faceless writers, use it to provide water and electricity to the poor people, and build a good sewage system for all Samoa.

There are so many productive things to do with government money than to spend it on hunting someone you just don’t want to hear.
