Joseph Moana feels like he is the “luckiest man in the world.”

He has good reason to. Yesterday at Taumeasina Island Resort, families and friends from New Zealand and Australia gathered to witness the wedding of Joseph Moana and Paula David.

In an interview with the groom he explained that they he had met Paula while he was attending Aorere College.

He said that he had seen her a couple of times for school events when they were both prefects but did not officially approach her until a year after high school.

“It has been five years, six months and one day since we have been together,” Joseph said.

Asked how he knew she was the one, he responded: “She knows how to look after me and she is what any man would want in a wife and I wanted her to be mine. I love her.

“Paula could have chosen any man, but she chose me and that makes me the luckiest man in the world.”

Harry Faasisila has been Joseph’s best-friend since high-school and was also the best-man.

“I love them, they have been through a lot together and I must say they really complement each other. They are a match made in Heaven,” Harry said.

Monica David, maid of honor and younger sister of the bride admitted that she was going to miss her sister immensely but at the same time was very happy for her.

“Paula and Joseph have been together for a very long time and I am so happy for the both of them. I miss her already.”
