This is a joke

Dear Editor,

Re: P.M. blames lack of education

Samoa is moving up, just give the coach time to fulfill the spirit of his contract, not only be the Manu Samoa coach but also to develop the players for the long haul. I still believe he is a great coach.

But to hear the excuse by the PM, it brought back memories of another article, about an Australian government minister who criticized the Chinese help scheme in the Pacific region, building roads that lead to nowhere.

At the time, the P.M. responded: “To me as Chairman of the Pacific Leaders Forum, the comments question the integrity, wisdom and intelligence of the leaders of the Pacific Islands to judge what is good for our own people.”

But now he is insulting the integrity of the players.

Even if some didn’t reach higher learning and level of education, but they have integrity that made them the players they are today, they could easily give up without the ability to learn, but they are playing internationally.

Who picked the players that are under performing anyways?

The answer is the coach. So is the P.M putting the coach on the pedestal while insulting his intelligence as a coach in selecting the under performing players? Time to retire Mr. P.M.
