Choosing good leads to opportunities
Dear Editor,
Re: The solution to our problems
Thank you for the inspiring editorial.
One important thing that we have to remember - which underpins much of what you have presented - is that we are all agents unto ourselves.
In other words, we are free to make our choices in life.
Here’s a caveat though: If we choose good, the opportunities to make more choices are granted us. It’s automatic.
But if we choose evil, we reach a point where our choices are taken away and we are deprived of the opportunities to make more choices.
Simply, we head towards a dead end (pun intended).
Here’s John and Jeremiah to endorse, corroborate and validate what you have written.
“Our problems are man-made, therefore they may be solved by man. And man can be as big as he wants. No problem of human destiny is beyond human beings.” ~ John F. Kennedy
“At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it; If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.
And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it; If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them..... return ye now every one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.” ~ Jeremiah 18: 7-11
