Socialising in Samoa

Money is not everything; it is what makes you happy that counts the most.

Gesper Andell who will be celebrating his birthday today believes that if he was a billionaire, he would always work in a restaurant, there is something about being around people that gives him a sense of purpose.

“I didn’t choose to work in a restaurant all those years in Sweden for nothing; I loved socialising with different people. I don’t know there is just something about the people that makes me feel at ease.”

He travelled to Samoa to get a new experience and to get out of his comfort zone and to explore a little.

Gesper is from Sweden and he quit his job and found himself here in the heart of the Pacific and he is just overwhelmed with everything that he is witnessing, which made him think that coming on this trip was the right decision.

A break is what he was looking for and it is exactly what he has found.

He is currently staying at the Faofao Beach Fales and there is something about the warm blue ocean and the smooth sandy beach that has created so much eagerness within him to now explore what Savaii looks like.

There are two things that he enjoys most, to travel and to be able to socialise with new people.

Coming to Samoa, he has been able to experience how friendly the people are towards him - precisely what he loves about making new friends.

Comparing his experiences in Hawaii and Fiji he said he prefers Samoa because Fiji was an expensive tourist destination.

In his opinion, the only problem that he struggles with here in Samoa is that there is no free Wi-Fi or no Wi-Fi at all.

But other than that, he has enjoyed his trip very much and felt that it was a shame that none of his friends were here to enjoy and share in his experiences.
