Fight Night!

A night ringside,  with boys and some brew  watching  the best boxing talent Samoa has to offer, is definitely a recipe for a great time.

Tonight, all cordial behaviour is put aside as friends , work mates and business competitors go toe to toe in the ring for the finale of the Vailima’s  Corporate Bash at the gym in Tuanaimato.

Coordinator, Va’aiga Tuigamala beamed with excitement as he spoke to the Samoa Observer about tonight’s festivities.

“We’re excited, it’s the end of year show.  We somehow tend to conjure up the atmosphere of people coming to support their fighters like business vs business and friends vs friends.

This is our last show of the year.  We’re excited to give the opportunity for businesses to select their staff as their representatives and for them to get into the ring and experience what boxing is all about.

We’ve got a full card and a main bout which is Alapati Aasa against a Kiwi-Samoan by the name of Tino Honey.

The main event with heavyweight boxer, Alapati Aasa,  is a rising Samoan boxer who will definitely put on a good show in the ring.

Not only will professional boxers show their skills, but college students will get their chance in the ring as well.  The show will feature prominent college boxers who did an outstanding job during the Inter-Collegiate boxing tournament that concluded earlier in the year.

“We’ve just finished the Inter-Collegiate Boxing tournament which was hugely successful.  But we’re going to give the opportunity for the business sector to witness these high school fighters.”
