The family of a young man from Vaivase-uta is mourning his sudden death.

The man, who worked for Bluesky, reportedly fell from a telephone pole which he had been working on and died. The incident happened on Friday.

It was not possible to get an official comment from Bluesky yesterday.

But an official at the National Health Services told the Sunday Samoan that the man died upon arrival.

“He suffered from serious head, neck and leg injuries,” the official said. “I think he might have suffered from internal bleeding as a result of the impact of his fall.”

From what she was told, the N.H.S official said the man was working when he fell.

“He just lost his footing and he slid down the pole and fell.”

A senior Officer at Bluesky, who declined to be named, confirmed the incident.

“We confirm the incident but we don’t know what happened. We’re at the police station now and an investigation is under way.”
