“He said they have been watching programmes of people coming to visit the children and that gave him the idea that they also should be coming here.

“He said that as a father and a pastor, it was a good idea to bring over the youth and the Sunday school to meet the children here and perform for them.”

Siliniu went on to say that this is was a special day for the kids at the Campus of Hope.

“They (children) have been looking forward to seeing visitors coming over to visit,” said Siliniu.

“This gives these children the chance to meet other people and know that there are people out there who care for them and want to encourage them that life doesn’t end here and they can still have the chance to start a new beginning”

Reverend Limu acknowledged the work done by the president and staff members of the S.V.S.G. in looking after these children.

“We know that the work you are doing is not easy,” he said.

“In providing for these children and caring for them as your own, you have shown them love and kindness and so we just want to say thank you.” The congregation donated $1,400 tala to help out with the needs of the children at the campus.
