A man charged with the killing of two men last month appeared before the Supreme Court yesterday.

Simanu'a Manuela of Falefa is facing first degree murder charges and was represented in Court by lawyer, Su’a Hellene Wallwork.

The lawyer asked the Court for an adjournment to enable her to get further instructions from her client and go through the case file.

The application to adjourn—which went before the Chief Justice, His Honour Patu Tiava'asu'e Falefatu Sapolu—was granted. The proceeding was then adjourned and returns to the Court next Monday.

The bodies of two men were discovered in an open outdoor kitchen area at Leulumoega-uta on November 23. The Police identified the two victims as a male 69 years of age of Leulumoega uta/Lufilufi and New Zealand, and his son-in-law, a 42-year-old of Savaia Lefaga and Leulumoega uta.
