Tautaituasivi title bestowed upon Tagaloa Eddie Wilson

Tagaloa Eddie Wilson is the new holder of the Tautaituasivi chiefly title of Moata’a.

The title was bestowed during a ceremony held on Saturday 8 July. The new title holder is a heir of Tautaituasivi Sale II. 

Present during the ceremony was the “Afioga i le Matua- ia Tofaeono Vui Leavasa, ma susu ai foi Patu ma Patu faapea Asi ma Asi ma le paia i aiga e tolu, le Usuoalii, la’ua na Tai ma le mamalu i le nofo o ituaiga ia Fuata, Ataga ma Saataga.”

Representatives of the district were also present. 

The new title holder was blessed by Rev. Semi Kueva, E.F.K.S. at Moata’a; Father Falaniko Matulino, Katoliko Mulivai and Rev.Michael Wilson, of East Tamaki-New Zealand.

Tautaituasivi Tagaloa Wilson III said he his humbled by the honour bestowed upon him by his family.

He said he would place his father in God to help him raise his family, village and the church.

Tautaituasivi is the President of the Samoa Association of Manufacturers and Exporters.
