Peaceful Samoa and suicide bombers
Re: Samoa is the place to be
Well, I think Mata’afa Keni Lesā, you are starting to write the truth and you sure make sense when you listened to your conscious.
Yes indeed Mata’afa, Samoa is politically stable, economically sound, democratically free, peacefully and harmoniously soothing, with lot and lots of food but the lazy are always hungry; and if you want me to concoct more metaphors I will.
But the crux of expressing your opinion is the suicide bomber in Manchester England that claimed many innocent young lives and many are struggling with life threatening injuries in hospitals around the vicinity.
Mata’afa Keni Lesã, I can assure you that pop concerts and major sporting events are sitting ducks for the slaughtering due to lack of body searches and or metal detectors in these venues.
The last pop concert I attended was Adele in March at the Gabba here in Queensland.
There was not a stringent security audit at the turnstiles or gates; all the promoters are worried about is the face of a paid ticket and for ladies handbags being searched only to make sure that no alcohols were smuggled inside.
But for the worst fear of the modern day threat we are encountering today, the promoters were not interested in that.
The very same at Suncorp stadium; once it is opened for spectators, the turnstiles at every corner of the stadium swing opened and show your ticket and walk in.
No metal detector no body searches, no safety check; none or whatsoever.
The airports are now more secured with those metal detectors. Perhaps that’s easy as passengers would go in on just a one entry to the tarmac.
But that is no excuse for dear life if we want to win against the terrorists.
Suicide bombers would not end with France and Manchester unless legislations are in place to protect the safety of people.
The stadium owners and promoters are to be liable and responsible to install metal detectors at every turnstiles and gates in a stadium or a concert venue.
Then failing that and there’s more fatalities coming.
However, in a cold country, our survival margin is pretty high when we are mingled with spectators wearing less clothing.
A suicide bomber wears heavy garment to cover the deadly vest.
