Village has spoken

Dear Editor

Re: Paramount chief Misa stands by Rev. Soana’i

He is correct the Elders’ Committee has no control in removing the faifeau from the village. Because in the E.F.K.S. system, it’s the village who choose the faifeau (a feagaiga.)

Not like the Methodist system where the church appoints where the faifeau goes. The village has already spoken -  the faifeau won’t leave.

Now the district has spoken they stand behind the minister. So what’s worse, a faifeau title or losing a whole congregation or a whole district?
