A pathetic practice

Dear Editor,

Re: Airport emergency drill

While you are at drills Mr. Manager of S.A.A, invent a drill to remove that stupid security officer who stands at the door of the departure lounge writing down every serial number of every boarding pass of every passenger that goes through.

What is that? Are you still trying to figure out who’s stealing the country’s money from boarding pass fraud?

It’s so unprofessional, primitive and can only happen at places where leadership and accountability is fraudulent. This is the 21st century.

We don’t employ people to stand there at the gate and write down the number of every boarding pass that goes through.

We find out the thief and display his goodies from the closest coconut tree. I’m confident that you and your expensive board of directors should be able to devise a system to do that check instead of writing it down all the time.

The message you are giving out to international travelers is that there is a thief in the system and that’s why you’re going back to the 1960s system of writing down every single serial number of every single boarding pass. Pathetic.
