Visiting Prince Edward is heading off to school this morning before talking in a game of his favourite sport rugby.

Leififi School will be hosting the visitor this morning and they had been hard at work all day yesterday cleaning up and decorating the compound for their royal visitor.

An official ava ceremony was given in the Prince’s honour at Iva, Savaii yesterday where he also inspected sports facilities.

Last night he attended a private informal dinner with sports people at the home of the Honorary British Consul, Robert Barlow at Tulaele. Representatives of most sports organisations were in attendance last night.

The Prince will be in attendance at the first match of the Maori All Blacks tour here later this afternoon against the Western Samoa development squad.

A reception was held at Kitano Tusitala for him Monday evening after a visit to Lotofaga to see sports facilities which will benefit from funds raised by Pass the Ball campaign in Britain earlier this year.

The Prince was a strong force behind the fundraising.
