Rugby league superstar, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck (R.T.S), is in Samoa for the holidays.

The Auckland Warriors player was spotted in Vaimoso on Boxing day celebrating and mingling with family and friends.

Roger is the son of Johnny Tuivasa and Liesha Sheck.  His brother is Johnny Tuivasa-Sheck, who is continuing the family legacy with pride in the Roosters Under 20’s side.

However, for Roger Tuivasa- Sheck, 2016 has definitely been rollercoaster ride for the star fullback.

2015, was one of the highest points of  Tuivasa-Scheck’s career with a break out a season with the Sydney Rooster’s and winning the Dally M Fullback of the Year Award.  He also hung up his Roosters jersey and signed a three year multimillion contract with the Vodafone Warriors.

2016 was shaping up to be an exciting year for the 22 year old star.

His debut for the Warriors proved his eagerness to do well with his new club having exceeding past performances in the first few matches of the season.

He even scored the golden try for the Warriors against his former club that left many of the Rooster fans heartbroken.

However, his campaign was cut short after seven innings with Warriors as he suffered a season ending ACL injury in April this year.

His injury was a huge blow to the team as their multimillion player was now sidelined for the entire season.

Despite the injury, Tuivasa-Sheck went to work in the gym and in rehab to ensure that he would be able to take the pitch with his fellow warriors in the upcoming season.

“I’m still part of the rehab group, I’m going to exit that soon so I’ve just got to put my head down and keep working. “(The body) is almost there, the medical team want to look at a few of my movements before I can join the boys. “I’ve been doing all the conditioning runs with the team, but all the cuts and skills I’m still working on my own,” he told Foxsports.au

It would definitely family and footy fans alike to see the star back in action in this upcoming season.
