Easter Bell tops Fusi School

A young girl who wants to become a doctor is the top student at Fusi Safata Primary School.

Easter Koneselata Bell celebrated the achievement with her family and friends this week.

The 13-year-old not only took out first place overall, she also topped English, Social Studies, Basic Science and Visual Arts.

“I was so happy when I was told that I would be dux,” she said. “I was speechless, I didn’t know what to say.”

As the top student, she dedicated her achievements to her supportive parents. She also wants to acknowledge the love shown by her friends and all the good times they have had. She especially wants to thank all her teachers.

Lastly, she acknowledges her grandmother, Talaitaua Bell, for all the good things she had done for her.

Miss Bell will attend Avele College next year.
