Stop with this “poverty” mentality

Dear Editor

Technology has nothing to do with increased profits but to help our people keep up with the world in the sense of communication, better business practice standards and helping our people who manage to leave Samoa to find a better future, have the relevant experience to take these abroad to other countries.

Automation is about helping organisations/countries be more efficient in their delivery to their customers/people e.g. Employment processes, Fiscal responsibilities etc.

Increased efficiencies mean organisations can focus on the things that matter most, and to all us Samoans, that’s serving our people.

It’s time Samoans stop with the “Poverty” thinking and create a better future for ourselves.

Focus on what we’re good at e.g. Farming, Tourism, Exports, Fishing.

Ma le fa’aloalo lava,

Jonathan
