The solution to S.R.U.’s woes

Dear Editor,

Re: Union broke, P.M. admits

My humble opinion is for the government and S.R.U. to step up and put your money where your mouth is. You cannot ask the public to donate money after the fiasco we all went through years past.

Donate your time to Public Service, be an example and show you’re willing to work for nothing and donate your pay cheque to your Rugby Union.

What the S.R.U. needs is someone to run it like a business, a successful local businessman, who knows how to talk business, convince investors to invest into the S.R.U., someone who is willing and can work for free, cut costs and solicit volunteers to help build the Brand back up.

Once you find someone who knows what areas to cut down and investors to bring in then find volunteers that are willing to provide simple things like feeding the players and housing them.

You have that huge sports facility you can turn into housing for the players and restaurants or families willing to cook meals for the players on a daily basis.

You can’t afford a hotel and dinner at a restaurant at this point.

At this point of the game the S.R.U. is desperate and all options are on the table but local and overseas people alike are weary and have no trust with both the government and S.R.U., so they’re not going to donate to you their hard earned money for you to squander away again.

You might as well pack it up and dissolve it.

Choose wisely, you want someone that will save you money not spend money you don’t have. Good luck.
