The T.J. Taxi Stand at Vaitele is celebrating fifteen years of service to Samoa this week.

President, Mamea Tapelu Na’otala, told Samoa Observer the Stand started from humble beginnings but over the years, it has grown.

“As of today, the numbers of cabs registered under the T.J. is still increasing,” he said.

“We’re covering nearby areas as usual and we’re looking at expanding our service to other parts of the country. “Even though there are challenges but we learn from those challenges to make us stronger.”

Mamea acknowledged the support of their customers.

To celebrate the milestone, the drivers at the Stand have a new uniform. “Reaching our fifteen years of service is really exciting, and as you can see today, we have a new green and black elei uniform. Those are the colours of the T.J. Taxi Stand.” T.J. Taxi Stand is owned by Olo Fiti Talatonu.
