Really??? 

So would it be better to pretend it never happened!!? Of course not! 

It’s this “head in the sand” approach that has protected the sexual offenders (and in some ways allowed them to repeat offend) and suppressed the victims into acquiescence.

It certainly does not enable the poor victims to speak out against this despicable sort of behaviour.

If we don’t expose the real truth about this, how on earth are we supposed to change our ways to better help and support those affected? 

Rose tinted glasses are definitely not the answer.
