Another cruise ship from the United Kingdom, Queen Victoria, docked at the Matautu wharf yesterday, bringing in more than 2,000 visitors from different parts of the world.

Queen Victoria is a Vista-class cruise ship operated by the Cunard Cruise Line based at Carnival House at Southampton, England.

The MS Queen Victoria is a hybrid design between the Vista-class of Holland America and the Spirit-class of Carnival and she is the smallest of Cunard’s ships in operation.

Apia town was filled with different faces from all over the world, taking photos and looking for souvenirs to take back to their countries.

Peter Clemmens, one of the many visitors was excited to be in Samoa.

“I’m from Australia and this is my first time in Samoa,” he said.

“It’s a beautiful place and I really love the weather. It’s very tropical.”

Mr. Clemmens said he came with his friends and now they’re all scattering around Apia to explore the place.

He plans to see as much as he could before heading to their next stop.

“I’ll just have a look around and take as many photos as I can. After here, we are heading to Honolulu.

“I’m always looking forward to what were going to see next.

“Samoa is beautiful but the best part is its’ tropical weather and friendly faces.”

With that, the happy visitor continued on with his tour around Apia.

Along with hundreds of his fellow guests from the Cruise Ship.
