The importance of our land

Dear Editor,

I  am pleased that your newspaper and media outlet understands how deadly serious the customary land theft situation has become.

The A.D.B investigation team states that our customary land rights have already been damaged.

The knowledge of the abuse of indigenous races and the damage it does is set aside by a simple vote.On the voting board is the man, a foreigner, responsible for achieving the break up of Samoan Customary Land and he decides that our ancestors, our unborn and our living Samoans don’t matter and we will be moved off our land. Sounds like a Declaration of War to me.

Then Malielegaoi is trying to distract the people any way he can.

Ministers going overseas are spending huge amounts of public money on their own pleasure.

All the while poor water, food and education for our people.

I will break it down for you. They, greedy foreigners and their puppet politicians, are trying to eliminate most Samoans off to get at the land.

The A.D.B says that if you are the majority people in your own land then in spite of the fact that the U.N. says, you are indigenous, A.D.B policy says you are not.

So you are able to be abused but once enough Samoans die so that foreigners are the majority in this the land of our ancestors, then we will become indigenous and funds will be made available from the break up of our lands to help our dying race.
