The parents of the Vailele boy electrocuted last month want to know what has become of their complaint against the Electric Power Corporation (EPC). The boy’s father, Folasi Moe said he talked with police and was told they are handling it. “As I said before we don’t blame anyone but consider what happened as a lesson not only for EPC but people and their responsibilities,” Mr Moe said.
/> “At the moment, we have no idea where we are with the case.” Mr Moe said they plan to take the matter to court but have yet to speak with a lawyer.
“The last time I spoke with the police was when my son was buried and I was told that the court mention would be on Tuesday (last week),” he said. “That is why I went to court last week but I couldn’t find anything on the list.
“We are still waiting if there would be case or not but for the time being all we are doing is waiting.” He said he has not been contacted by police since his son’s funeral.
The boy’s death was caused by a broken electric power line which hung loosely on the road. Back
