A big market for eggs

There’s a big demand for eggs.
Against that demand are two local producers.
Their output is nowhere enough.

“It’s nothing,” said one of them, Panoa Tavita Moala.
Panoa is managing director of Farm Tech Ltd, which only entered the market last year.

Farm Tech produces 100 dozens of eggs a day.

“It’s nowhere near enough,” said Panoa.
Panoa recently returned from New Zealand where he visited with a mind of increasing his stock.

“Because of the market, it’s a big market,” he said.
“You’re looking at 60,000 dozens a month.”
