Think a Minute

Think a minute…A man was cleaning his car with a special brush when a little girl who had been watching him said, “My daddy has a brush like that to clean his car too.” “Really!” said the man. “What kind of car does your daddy have?” The little girl answered: “Oh, he hasn’t got the car yet, but he’s got the brush to clean it.” Well, I suppose you have to start somewhere! The important thing is that you do get started. And to do that, we first have to decide what kind of life we want.

Letters to the Editor

Dear Editor, In October 2014, we learned from some former Cabinet Members that Parliament had passed the Samoan Language Commission Act 2014 and members and a Commission were approved by Cabinet and the Head of State. This piece of legislation is indeed a milestone. Government ought to be applauded for its vision and farsightedness as this Act should promote; enhance and encourage the survival of our cultural identify and heritage.

Dear Editor, Thank you for printing in full the interview of our Hon. Prime Minister and 60 Minutes that has caused quite a furore. Actually it’s not as bad as I had assumed. We absolutely sympathize and empathize and wish to heaven we can reverse the ordeal of these beautiful and unfortunate individuals. If our hearts could make up for a crime, a whole new Ocean would have been created, such is the depth of feeling and emotions that have been alerted.

Dear Editor, When I read what PM Tuilaepa said about the need to increase exports, it was like reading a comic book. He said he wants to increase export. Export what? Nothing? The govt. never invested in agriculture in the past years.
