A woman accused of stealing $2,101.34 from her employer has pleaded guilty to the charge of theft as a servant.

Thirty-seven-year-old Julia Choo Koon, of Vaitoloa, appeared before the Chief Justice, his Honour Patu Tiava’asu’e Falefatu Sapolu this week.

The prosecutor was Lealofioamoa Mamaia of the Attorney General’s Office.

According to the Police summary of facts, Choo Koon was an employee of Schuster Betham Annandale’s Office.

On the 23rd of August last year, she stole money from her former employer.

She pleaded guilty to the charge.

Chief Justice Patu adjourned the matter until 25 June 2018 for sentencing.

“Your guilty plea has noted down by the Court,” he told the defendant.

“This matter is adjourned to the 25th of June for a report from the probation officer and a pre sentence report from the police. Bail conditions continue.”
