Ele Opeloge is set for a wardrobe overhaul.
Thanks to Eveni Carruthers who gifted Opeloge a voucher worth $1,000 to spend on anything inside their store.
Yesterday, Supervisor Selina Galuvao handed over the donation during a presentation at their location in town.
“On behalf of Eveni Carruthers we would like to thank you for what you’ve done for this country. This is a small token of gratitude to show our appreciation,” she said.
Ele was accompanied by her coach and president of the Samoa Weightlifting Federation, Tuaopepe Jerry Wallwork.
It is important to note that when the “Ele Fund” was announced , Eveni was elated and decided they too would like to do something for Samoa’s only Olympic medallist.
They initially felt that they wanted to give something different for Ele; especially since Eveni Sports is her favourite store to shop at when she was training.
Naturally, Ele being an athlete, she gravitated towards the Eveni Sports section checking out their wide selection of shoes, athletic wear and more.
When Ele decides to make a comeback in the weightlifting arena, she will be dressed to the tee. But for now, what to buy first?
