Retraction
A letter titled “Stop this madness” published on page 13 of the Samoa Observer of 29 March 2017 contained a claim we would like to retract.
The letter written by a writer identified as “M.R.” calls on the police to move in and ask for D.N.A tests in relation to Toa Opapo and the stigmata issue.
We would like to retract that particular part of the letter.
We also take the opportunity to apologise to Opapo Soanai Oeti, Toa Patrick and their family for the hurt the letter caused.
The error is regretted.
