NEED A JOB: Moli Ray Vaili 28 year old from Malie.

Moli Ray Vaili has a wish.

The young 28-year-old man is in need of a job.

Yesterday, he shared with the Village Voice team the benefits of having a job and the impact it will have on his family.

Mr. Vaili is from Malie and he shared that there are eight of them in the family, all  unemployed.

He understands that the cost of living will never decrease, so he wants to make a change and support his family.

“Life is no longer easy and everything is so costly. I really need a job, it is the only way I will be able to support my family,” Mr. Vaili shared.

He said a job may not help him contribute much to his family, but he was willing to help his family in whatever little way he could.

Mr. Vaili was returning home from his plantation when he shared that he doesn’t sell any of his crops to earn a living, but for daily feed.

He says with a family of eight to feed, their crops are never enough to help them earn income.

Mr. Vaili explained that being a farmer required patience because you have to endure the sun every day and also wait a long period of time for your crops to be ready to harvest.

“Nothing in life comes easy; if we do not work we cannot eat. So we must always sweat for what we want.”
