Someone might die

Re: Brutal beating leaves family shaken, angry

Are there no patrols by the law enforcement anymore? Are there no longer village aumaga to look out for incidents like these?  What is wrong with Samoan society nowadays? Is it all of a sudden okay to turn a blind eye when someone runs to you for help?  I can’t believe what Samoa is turning into.

The influence of the western world is diminishing our culture, and it is evident that parents are not doing their duties in teaching their children morals (specifically referring to those individuals who are continually beating up other people for pleasure.)

It is also evident, that churches have scaled down their motivational tactics in keeping kids off the streets and away from stupid acts such as this.

Corporal punishment is considered cruel, but hey, Samoa was a.o.k back in the day when this was enforced!  Brutality is on the rise, and where does the idea stem from?  Something to think about because once the source is located, it must be removed from Samoa no matter how far the development has come.

Who knows, probably a string of deaths will arise in the very near future!
