Samoa Stationery and Books (S.S.A.B.) trade road show in Tokelau has been hailed a success.

S.S.A.B’s International Manager, Marlene Kathleen Mulipola, said the President and owner of the company, Tofilau Fiti Leung Wai, is pleased to have been able to initiate the roadshow, which has paved the way for future ventures.

“We started our road show on Monday 16th July and finished on Friday 20th July,” said Lupematasila.

“Fakaofo was a bit different from Nukunonu, but the people were just as supportive of the road show. We had our filecorp presentation done by our Assistant Manager-Electronics, Titilua Moors on Thursday (19th July) evening and had a good turnout.

“We received a lot of interest from different departments of Tokelau in the Filecorp Filing System as it is a very capable and effective system for managing and archiving records.”

Lupematasila said they sold a lot of appliances and home utensils as well as electronic products.

“We are looking at taking a second road show to Nukunonu before the end of this year,” she said.

“One of the challenges that we had to face was the heat. We were set up outside of the General Fono area and we had to be quiet and out of the way, which is unlike S.S.A.B. because our spirit is happy all the time.”

She acknowledged the Ulu o Tokelau and all the people for their support.
