They have been weighed, they have faced down their opponent and now they are ready for the ring.

Businesses against businesses, friends against friends, one ring and one winner; tonight is the night where it all goes down.

Tonight’s Vailima Corporate Bash Fight Night 5 had its official weight-in yesterday at the Taumeasina Island Resort where each contender had a chance to face down their opponent.

The event which will match-up different businesses and organization against each other is happening tonight and after the weigh in yesterday, all the fighter are hungry for the ring.

But according to the event organizer, Vaaiga Leuluga Tuigamala, this will be a very exciting night.

“Putting this show together has been exciting because it brings people together,” he said.

“This is our fifth fight night and I feel very honored to be able to continue to stage this; I am grateful for the businesses whose athletes put their hand up.”

Vaaiga has also been impressed with the talents shown by Samoa’s young boxers in the past.

“It is an exciting time to be in Samoa; I never realized how important boxing is until I started my first show back in 2014,” he said.

“I am so impressed by the young kids and their talents; they say that it is a terrible sin if God blesses you with a talent and you never fulfill it; and all of us have different talents.

“There is a saying by Muhammad Ali ‘if my mind can conceive it and my heart can believe it then I can achieve it’; nothing is impossible.

“It is going to be a fantastic night; companies vs. companies, friends vs. friends; and hopefully raise a lot of money for our athletes.”

Heavyweight title contender Lupesoliai Joseph Parker will be the special guest of the night.
