Several members of the University of Samoa (U.S.P.) Samoa Alumni gathered at the I.R.E.T.A. Fale last Friday to discuss the Alumni’s role and activities to celebrate USP’s 50th Anniversary.

The Alumni also took the opportunity to elect an Executive Committee to spearhead its activities not only for the U.S.P’s half-a-century celebrations but also for the next 12 months.

The new Executive Committee include: Peseta Desmond Lee Hang as the President, Lua’iufi Aiono as the Vice-President, Alice Papali’i Seuseu as Secretary, and Maena Faatuuala Ah Leong as the Treasurer.

The executive committee did not waste time in tackling the urgent matters in the agenda for the meeting.

And the result was that this meeting was touted as the most successful U.S.P. Samoa Alumni meeting ever to be held—thanks to the efficient and professional manner with which the new President executed his duties.

A follow-up meeting to this meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 30th May at 5.30pm at the Millenia Hotel to further discuss details of the U.S.P 50th Anniversary Programme.

All U.S.P. Samoa Alumni are cordially invited to attend this meeting.
