Earthquake hits Samoa

There was no tsunami warning for Samoa after a 5.7 magnitude earthquake hit at 12.32pm yesterday afternoon.

 The earthquake occurred within the Tonga region at a depth of 10 kilometres and at a distance of 224 kilometres southwest of Apia.

The Meteorology Division confirmed that there was also no reported damage after it struck.
