Finally, after weeks of practicing and many hours of organisation by the Samoa Culinary Association, the inaugural Oceania Gas Salon Culinaire is happening today.
From junior chefs showing off their skills preparing a fruit display or cooking the perfect omelette through to experienced senior chefs showing their well-honed skills in making a complicated dessert in just one hour.
Today is going to be very exciting.
The Team Challenge will put both junior and senior chefs through a gruelling and tough cooking experience.
A two-course meal prepared and serve in just one hour. May the best team win.
So, come on over to Sheraton Samoa Aggie Grey’s Hotel and Bungalows and catch the action.
Come and cheer for your favourite chef and team. All the action starts at 9.00am and goes through to 3.00pm.
Street food such as kebabs and other simple food will be available to buy so sample different food from all over the world at this culinary extravaganza.
