Taula Beverages has come onboard alongside Digicel to be the naming rights sponsors for the broadcasting of the Lupesoliai La’auliolemalietoa Joseph Parker fight next month.

With a $35,000 sponsorship, Taula and Digicel will help broadcast the Joseph Parker vs. Andy Ruiz fight free of charge for the whole of Samoa.

The naming rights will be shared between the two companies and displayed during the fight night.

The announcement was made at the TV3 headquarters where Taula’s Luatua Leiite Setefano met with TV3’s Muliaga Mila Mavaeao.

“Taula is very excited to support and sponsor this event,” Luatua told the Samoa Observer.

“It’s not small; it’s a big event for the people of Samoa.”

According to Luatua, this isn’t the first time the beverage company has showed their support for Lupesoliai.

“Taula was a major sponsor in July when Joseph Parker fought in Samoa,” he said.

“So that’s our dream, we need to continue to support not only the son of Samoa but also the people of Samoa. We have to give something back to our people.

“We use this way of putting the naming rights on the TV to telecast the boxing live around the Island.

“People of Samoa will benefit by watching it live, free of charge.”

Managing Director of TV3, Hans Joachim Keil, expressed gratitude to Taula for taking their sponsorship and then continued on to wish Lupesoliai a good fight.
