Children are the salt of the earth; they are the future of what is yet to come.

With this idea in mind, Sinaupualofa Foundation Trust donated stationaries and a trampoline to the preschool Malua Theological College on Friday.

Kuinimary Tamati, Director of the Sinaupualofa Foundation Trust, believes the young ones will be the future leaders of our communities and country, so they need to start with the basics of education which is kindergarten.

“The donation that we have given today (Friday) is to develop the academic lives of our young ones,” she said.

“All good things begin at such a young age with why we are here today to invest in the lives of our future leaders, the young children of Malua Theological College.”

She added this would also build strong foundations for the young ones.

Kuinimary said this donation had been made possible with the help of friends from Australia, Tui Meredith, the Salvation Army and the Baha’i Church.

Lalokava Lima, the principal of the Malua Pre-School, expressed gratitude for the donation.

“I am very humbled with this donation, very grateful for this recognition. Words cannot express our heart of gratitude due to the gift that has been given but I know that through prayer we are able to bless them for what they have done for us today,” she said.

The Sinaupualofa Trust is responsible for the popular TV Bingo programme.
