Samoa joined thousands of churches, millions of Christian believers and numerous global networks for the Global Outreach Day movement yesterday.

The 28th of May was a day set aside for the love of God to be shared among people on earth.

The aim of the day was to share the Gospel around the world in great unity.

Held in front of the government building hundreds joined with some of the country’s men of God including Pastor Samoa Unoi, Reverend Livigisitone Toelupe and Reverend Nu’uausala Siutaia standing together with one heart.

“Global Outreach Day is the day that all people around the world celebrate by acting out the word of God,” said participant Tolua Vitale.

“This is a great feeling this morning, imagining how it is that millions of Christians are sharing the Gospel on one day, everywhere in the world,

“Before our Savior left the earth, he had an important message for his followers, “Spread the good news”.

“The idea today is very simple but powerful – that is - sharing the Gospel with at least one other person today not only in Samoa but all over the globe in any possible way.

“If there’s a will, there’s a way, and with the man above – surely nothing is impossible.

There are thousands of ideas and creative ways to lead someone to Jesus Christ,

“We must all stand together and bring in more souls for the glory of His Kingdom.

One participant, Rosita Tualaulelei said that Christians need to work together if they are going to reach this world.

“Today is another day of salvation around the world,” she said.

“With our small island country joining in and living by the will of the almighty God, it is really exciting.

“Let’s not just to spread the Gospel today, but every single day of our lives.

“Our possibilities are really limited but God‘s possibilities are unlimited,

“Together we can reach the lost world.

The Global Outreach Day saw millions of Christians sharing the good news all on the same day.
