Parliament building contract signed

The building contract for Samoa’s Parliament House has been signed.

Funding is being provided by the Australian government with a contribution from Samoa.

On Friday, Prime Minister Tuilaepa Lupesoliai Sailele Malielegaoi signed the contract on behalf of the Government of Samoa in the presence of Acting High Commissioner Rosemary Mckay, Ryan Masinalupe of the Attorney General’s Office and contractor, Francis Craig and Tani Simon of Craig Construction Ltd.

Preparation on the site has already begun.
