The Vaimauga College Under-19 team ended Leiifiifi College’s Under-19 win on Tuesday. 

They won in a close contest 18-17 points at fulltime.

Leiifiifi College Under-19 was the Zone A Secondary Schools Rugby 15s shield holder of the past three weeks defeating Avele College, Anoama’a College and Samoa College.

Vaimauga College had a mountain to climb going into the second half trailing by 17-5. They didn’t give up, and fought their way to be awarded a one point margin win over hosts, Leiifiifi College. 

Round four of the competition kicked off early on Tuesday because of Good Friday.  

Leiifiifi College hosted the Zone A Schools Rugby 15s Under-15s, Under-17s and Under-19s competition.  

The Under-15s clash this week saw Leiifiifi College taking on Shield holder, Samoa College. 

Samoa College defended their title again, winning 27-8 at fulltime.

In the Under-17s competition, Vaimauaga College defeated Falealili College 14-13; Leiifiifi College defeated Aleipata College 26-15, with Avele College retaining their shield title for the Under-17 after winning against Samoa College 10-8.

Another match in the competition is Under-29 division where Samoa College defeated Avele College 30-20 at fulltime.
