Suicide suspected in youth’s death

Police are continuing with their investigations into one of the incidents reported to them on the 19 March. 2016.
Maotaoalii Kaioneta Kitiona, media officer of the Ministry of Police said the matter was referred to them around 2:27pm on Saturday by a nurse at the National Health Services at Moto’otua.
The body of a 19 year old from the village of Afega had been brought in and Police suspect that he may have committed suicide.
Maota said they are still trying to trace information of what actually happened on the day in question.
A post mortem has been ordered to confirm the cause of death.
