Double celebration for Ulufale Seuseu family

NEW MATAI TITLE HOLDERS: Thirty young men from the Ulufale Seuseu family were bestowed matai titles at the Maota i Fualaga, Afega during the mark of their family's 50th year thanksgiving service.

A new journey for members of Ulufale Seuseu family of Afega started on Boxing Day, 26 December 2017.

It was when thirty family members were bestowed matai titles at the Maota i Fualaga, Afega. 

The Sa’o of the family, Seuseu Pito Fa’alogo, endorsed the bestowal of the Fata and Maulolo titles and wished them well.

It was a joyful day for the new titleholders and their families who gathered at the Maota i Fualaga. Among them were members of the family from New Zealand, Australia, American Samoa and Samoa. 

The bestowal of Fata and Maulolo titles continued the family’s celebration which started last Saturday.

The occasion was the commemoration and the unveiling of a plaque to mark the 50th year of the Ulufale Seuseu family’s thanksgiving service.
