Re: Leeches? Time to move on.

What do we think? I think it may not be the most felicitous metaphor, but it could be much worse. Apart from that, the notion behind the word is quite apt in the sense that Pacific countries rely on remittances and foreign aid. 

They’ve been suckling on those teats for too long. Every time I visit Samoa they expect me to give, to provide, to assist, but local people seem to focus mostly on passing those funds on to their churches, a sad state of affairs when one considers the factual reality, the undeniable situation that al religion is but a scam.

And the thieves, the fraudsters, are also sucking the blood out of Samoan people. There, that’s what I think.
