Pastor not just for Sunday

Dear Editor,

I’ve been following the debate about pastors playing golf on Sunday in your newspaper.

Taking a couple hours a week for personal refreshment (and maybe the pastor is ministering to those going to the golf course on Sunday) I do not think that arises to “abandoning the flock”.

Jesus was criticized for ministering to the wayward but who needs to receive understanding and guidance more?

Evaluate the pastor’s performance over the whole week, Month and year vs just on only Sunday afternoon.

And what is up with not being allowed to swim in the ocean on Sunday?

I am sure God would want people to enjoy his natural creations even on Sunday.
