After six years of courtship, Selesitina Tau and Uili Kitiona, took the plunge yesterday when they exchanged vows in holy matrimony.

Tau and Kitiona both reside in New Zealand but they decided to come to Samoa to celebrate their special day with relatives and friends.

“We were born here and our families live here so we decided that it would be best to have our wedding in Samoa,” Selesitina said.

The pair exchanged vows at the Congregational Christian Church of Samoa at Nofoali’i. This was followed by a reception at the E.F.K.S. Youth Hall, Sogi.

Selesitina Tau, 25, is the eldest daughter of Ili Tala’ilama and Liuoli Tau.

Her maid of honor was Falema’i Talana’i.

Uili, 30, is the eldest son of Sauila and Saunoa Kitiona, of Saleimoa.

The best man was Mavaega Ofisa.
