Meet Francis Ah-Ken of Fagalii.

A 20 year old who is doing his best to take care of his family.

Francis said at this time; it’s all about his family.

His time will come soon to build a family of his own but at the moment he has more important things to focus on first.

“To be honest, I think the development of our family is getting better because everyone; as in us the youth of our family, play their own role and each contributes into bringing up our family.

“I may not work but that’s because I have a family to look after.

“You know for me, I always keep in mind that this is our time to spend with our parents because one day, they will leave us.

“That’s why whatever we do now, how we serve them, how we tend to help them, will help us in a way that will shape the characters we become in the future. So when our parents leave this world, we will know what to do on our own.

“I want a family of my own to be honest. Hopefully I will have four children but I know it’s not my time yet, I still have a responsibility to my parents.

“As the youth of today, we still have a purpose. I have a purpose to work for my family.

“I serve them and at the same time, I try to figure out what I want to do with my life in terms of work.

“Everything has it’s own time and I pray that one day I will get to raise a family of my own just the way my parents raised me.

“My advice to the youth, please don’t take your family for granted. You never know what tomorrow will bring so live every day as if it’s your last day.”
